About Us
TBOA provides qualified referees for youth, recreation, and school basketball games in Pierce and parts of King County.

We recruit, hire, and develop individuals seeking opportunities as a basketball referee. Our officials are members of your community contracted and trained to officiate basketball assignments within our region.

In 2020, the girls and boys division formed the Tacoma Basketball Officials Association (TBOA). We are proud members of the Washington Officials Association (WOA) and the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).
